Javascript: A language originally developed for the browser, now used just about everywhere.
Node: Platform for building scalable network applications. We will also study the echosystem of modules that have been written to work in Node, such as Express and SocketIO.
MongoDB: A noSQL database that is highly scalable and supports MapReduce operations.
Dojo: Toolkit for building rich client applications in the browser.

Rouben Meschian, a former member of the Advanced Technologies team at IBM, is a founding software engineer at Cambridge Semantics where he is the lead developer of Anzo on the Web, a fully customizable web application that allows end users to create dashboards to view and edit linked data. He is a graduate of Boston University (BA, MA), and has over 10 years of experience developing a variety of user and enterprise applications.
